History

A fortified church from the 14th century, in the heart of Țara Bârsei, with a powerful defensive enclosure, thick walls and towers.

What to see

The chapel with rare medieval frescoes in the eastern tower, the chambers set within the walls and the sentry walk.

Good to know

A short distance from Brașov and from Prejmer, with which it is naturally visited together.
