A name that smells of the forest and of food cooked over the hearth
Casa Mistreților is a self-catering house tucked away in the mountains on the edge of Râșnov, about 7 km from the town and just 1 km from the Râșnoavei Gorge. The name evokes the hunting world of the surrounding forests, and the atmosphere of the place confirms the theme: solid-wood buildings, a lounge with a fireplace and the air of a mountain chalet designed for a long stay, not for a hurried passing through.
Traditional food, cooked to order
Here the kitchen does not operate as a restaurant open to the public, but rather as an attentive host: in the enclosed lounge, with a fireplace, the hosts prepare traditional dishes specific to the area on request, especially for groups. It is a formula suited to family meals or gatherings with friends, in which the aroma of mountain dishes blends with the warmth of the hearth fire. For the menu, availability and reservations, check the schedule and conditions on the official source before your visit.
The setting: wood, quiet and a fishing pond
The property is made up of several wooden buildings, with living rooms, equipped kitchens and balconies overlooking the surrounding landscape. In the yard there is a fishing pond and a gazebo with a barbecue, oven and hob, along with a children's playground and a small farm with animals. It is the kind of place where the day slips by between a spot of fishing, a walk and a long, unhurried meal.
An ideal location for the Râșnov–Bran–Brașov area
Being right on the outskirts of Râșnov, where MAX International is also located, Casa Mistreților is a convenient starting point towards the Râșnoavei Gorge, one kilometre away, but also towards Râșnov Citadel, Bran Castle and the city of Brașov. This proximity makes the secluded place a good base for exploring the surroundings.
Good to keep in mind before setting off
Being a self-catering house, with cooking to order, the meal and accommodation offer depends on the booking and the size of the group. Confirm the details, prices and schedule in advance directly with the hosts, through the official channels, so you can plan your visit without surprises.
