In short
The Piatra Craiului National Park Visitor Centre is at 150 Toplița Street in Zărnești, about 1.5 km from town, on the road to Plaiul Foii. It opened in April 2016 and is run by the Piatra Craiului National Park Administration. It is a good starting point before a hike in the park and a good option on a rainy day.
What you'll see inside
The exhibition is designed as a loop trail. Along the way you come across a model sheepfold and an artificial cave with bats and insects. The centre has interactive elements and exhibits on the park's animals, described as appealing to young children. An aggregator of reviews estimates the visit at about 90 minutes.
