Popas Panoramic MAX International is a viewpoint set right on the MAX International property, with direct access from the DN73 road, in Râșnov. It has no opening hours, no ticket office and no commercial services: it is a free, non-stop stop, meant as a moment of respite on the road between Râșnov, Bran, Piatra Craiului and Brașov.
What you see from here
From the height of the stop, a wide view opens over Râșnov and the Bârsa Land (Țara Bârsei), with the mountains that enclose the depression all around. On a clear day, the eye catches the nearby ridges — the jagged silhouette of Piatra Craiului and the massifs guarding the road to Bran. It is the kind of place where you stop for a few photos and for the quiet before or after a day of exploring.
