3 h 45 min – 5 h 15 min

In brief (checked 13 October 2026)
Trail 05MN47 is marked with a blue triangle and links the Pârâul Rece resort with the Piscul Lung ridge, above the Valea Cetății area, crossing the Râșnoava Gorge. It is 11.7 km long, with 595 m of ascent and 760 m of descent, and takes 3 h 45 min – 5 h 15 min. Difficulty: medium. The figures are the same in the P2 report and in the Munții Noștri atlas.
Where it goes
According to Munții Noștri, the trail starts behind the Pârâul Rece hotel and passes the Trei Brazi hut. Further on it descends to the Valea Poienii, where it meets the blue stripe marking to Poiana Brașov, and crosses the Râșnoava Gorge. The marking ends on the Piscul Lung ridge, close to the summit, where the Drumul Albastru also runs, the blue stripe trail between Brașov and Râșnov. P2 mentions four springs on the route, and the path also passes by the Pietrosu stream.
Safety
In winter the trail can only be done in part: heavy snow can cause problems on the final section (P2 and Munții Noștri). Bear risk is not published for this trail. The Trei Brazi hut is on the route; the sources consulted do not confirm its current opening hours. As it is a long trail, set off early and check the weather. In an emergency call 112 or 0SALVAMONT (0725 826 668). Information: Salvamont Brașov, county service, 0736 628 948.
