Where it goes

The route links Brașov with Poiana Brașov. It starts at Solomon's Rocks, at the end of the Șchei district, and follows the Old Road to Poiana, which climbs through the forest up to the resort. Munții Noștri describes it as suitable for mountain bikes too, so you may meet cyclists on the way. Other landmarks are not published in our sources.

Safety

Check access at Solomon's Rocks before you set off. On 19 March 2026 a landslide covered the forest road leading from the area towards Poiana Brașov, and access was closed. In early April 2026, Brașov City Hall announced that the road had been cleared and would reopen after inspection; we found no confirmation of the reopening. Getting to the start

From MAX International in Râșnov, drive towards Brașov on the DN73 through Cristian, then through the Șchei district to Solomon's Rocks. Parking at the start is not published in our sources.
