In short (checked 13 October 2026)
Waymark: yellow triangle (code 05MN51). Distance: 2.1 km. Elevation: 390 m up. Duration: 1–1.5 h. Difficulty: medium.
Where it goes
From the centre of the resort, opposite the police post, you climb briefly on the red cross to the Bradu ski tow. From there the yellow triangle climbs south-east to the Sulinar ski slope, crosses it and comes out above it, at the edge of the forest. You climb steadily to the Salvamont shelter (where the blue dot arrives from the Milk Cave), then alongside the slope and through the forest, in three switchbacks, up to the Crucuru ridge, where you meet the Yellow Road and the Blue Road from Brașov. Along the ridge you reach the artificial lake at Poiana Ruia, go round it on the left and come out at the Ruia chairlift pylon; for the Postăvaru hut you continue on the yellow stripe or the blue stripe.
Safety
It is a short route, but with about 390 m to climb. On the way there is the Salvamont shelter by the Sulinar slope.
