A semicircular 15th-century fortification, part of Brașov's outer defensive system, set on Dealul Warthe opposite Turnul Negru.

Why it's worth it

A classic vantage point with a sweeping view over the citadel, Biserica Neagră and Tâmpa. Reached by stairs from the historic centre.
